An exhibition of graphic art by the distinguished Czech graphic artist Vladimír Suchánek entitled "The Language of Color Lithography” took place in the presence of the artist in the Museum G. Gounaropoulos in Athens., officially opened by H.E Jan Bondy, the Ambassador of Chech Republic in Greece .

Vladimír Suchánek comes from a generation that played a crucial positive role in the development of Czech art in the second half of the 20th century. Suchánek's graphic prints reveal not only a rich imagination and characterful poetry, but also a masterful command of color lithography, which is his graphic technique of choice. His work can be seen in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague, the Albertina in Vienna, the Rockford Art Museum in USA, and in many other public and private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad.

"It is said that the lithographic stone has a soul, which is why for my whole life I have been trying to understand it. When, in a drawing on its dotted surface, a dream meets with an image of the outer world, then with passion and at the same time humility, I am embarking on a journey, at the end of which a new graphic print will be born.” Vladimir Suchanek said to the opening of the excitation.
