Travel with Odysseus & Athena

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page"

Augustine of Hippo

Each year we offer a  cultural cruise following the path of Odysseus meant to give you the most amazing adventure through antiquity. From the ancient steps of the Parthenon to the sensational crumbled walls of Troy, you will stand with legends and gods, sailing through the incredible waters of the Mediterranean, and wandering along the path of history.

The COVID-19 pandemic , like Scylla and Charybdis, has completely changed our lives. Our mobility has become severely restricted – reduced to jogs or walks a few kilometers around our homes. But let’s embrace this shift as an opportunity to embed sustainable and responsible travel practices.

Odysseus  voyage, full of adventures, memories and experiences will always be there waiting for us.

“Keep Ithaka always in your mind.
Arriving there is what you’re destined for.
But don’t hurry the journey at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so you’re old by the time you reach the island,
wealthy with all you’ve gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaka to make you rich.

Ithaka gave you the marvelous journey.
Without her you wouldn't have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka won’t have fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you’ll have understood by then what these Ithakas mean”.
